Organization

Get Organized with The Spacialist. I hired her in the early years of my practice and I still apply today all that she taught me. If you feel disorganized and fear it's affecting your ability to expand your business, the best thing you can do is take it to a Pro like Erica Ecker. Tell her I sent you. Phone and In-Person programs available.

Franklin Covey Planners The only paper planners worth their weight. Great prices and sharp looking tools. If you're still using paper to schedule your appointments, don't look like an amateur with sloppy and tiny planners (forcing you to squeeze your writing into a tiny block of space). Expand your business by getting a weekly planner with room for your business to grow (space for lots of appointments) and look like you take your business seriously.

Look Better Online.com Need new, updated pictures for your website and print marketing materials? Here's your answer. Go to LookBetterOnline.com and type in your zip code and out pops a list of local photographers in your area that have an eye and understanding for making you look your best online.  (Be sure to look at the before and after examples) While there's a heavy emphasis for online dating sites, many people use this service for professional shots for your materials. And you can't beat the price. Now there's no more excuses for pictures that scream "I got them taken at the mall."

1Shopping Cart / Cartville (same company) What I use to send out newsletters, sell stuff online, accept credit cards, affliate programs and more. Great customer service and a one-stop shopping experience for all that you need to market your services and products online. Although I here Aweber.com is also great.

PayPal Accept payment credit cards with out the extras that 1ShoppingCart provides.

Audio Acrobat Create audio files (such as recording audio testimonials, tele-seminars, podcasts, your own radio show) and videos (svideo testimonials, video welcome on your website) in a snap and at a super low-cost.

GoDaddy.com The best place to purchase domain names, set up email accounts, host your website and more. Great prices, great service and always reliable.

eFax Need to send/receive faxes without buying an expensive machine? To just send faxes via email is free. They sell voice mail, fax services and more at an affordable rate all via email. This service is so easy to use! I've been using them for years without a hitch.

FreeConference.com What I use to set up tele-seminars. It's free and a great service!

Networking

Business Networking International (BNI) Where I learned how to professionally present myself, week after week for years and my favorite networking association. They provide an excellent education and if you're in a motivated chapter and you make it a point to learn how to network effectively, it can be fun way to increase business.

There are other types of groups such as National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Le Tip, National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) etc… but I've had the best results with BNI.

If you plan on networking as a way of attracting clients, then don't leave your efforts to chance. Visit my recommended products page and purchase the Secrets of Master Networkers manual. It includes everything you need to know - what to say, what to do - to expand your practice on networking alone.
